Happy May!

Hey Friends,

It’s me your long-lost author friend. Lol. No, I didn’t drown or die by any sordid means, unless drowning by editing is a thing? No? Then I have no excuses.

I wish I could say I have been on a four-month-long vacation, filled with tropical beaches, but sadly that isn’t the case either. Time just slipped through my hands. One minute I was editing my book, and the next thing I knew it had been four months since I last wrote to you!

So let’s catch up.  This year is going by in a whirlwind, I have been so busy working my day job (for those of you that aren’t aware, I am a scientist of sorts) and then every other spare moment has been spent working on my book and trying to stay healthy from all the plagues out there. Hope you guys are staying healthy too.

Majick (a.k.a. my cat and Love of my life) hasn’t been as up to his kingly duties, he’s been having a bit of a rough go of it thanks to his thyroid. But as a seventeen-year-old gentleman, such things are to be expected I suppose… (crying) But now he has some medicine he seems to be doing much better and will be back to torturing the dogs shortly.

I am happy to report that I am about ten chapters away from completing editing on the last book in my Cage of Glass series, and then it’s off to the editor! I already have ideas percolating for the next series…so excited. If you are interested in being on my advanced review team shoot me an email and let me know. All you have to do is leave an honest review in exchange for reading the book before it comes out! It’s a win, win!

Well, that’s all from me, as I need to get back to my edits.  Unfortunately, these pages won’t edit themselves (I wish, haha). Next newsletter (which I promise you will not have to wait another four months for) I should have a title reveal for you! And maybe a cheeky excerpt. We’ll see. 😊
