Happy May!

Hey Friends,

I hope you’ve been doing well. I always have the best of intentions with these newsletters but time whips around and I think oh it’s only been a month since my last newsletter only to find it’s been two. Anybody else feel like time is on warp speed these days? 😊

I have in my defense been knee deep in research for my next series. This one looks like its going to be set in 1890s London and Egypt and honestly the research has been a lot of fun. I just need to make sure I don’t get too carried away and actually write the book. Lol.

I have been working on the outlining of book 1 and getting the bones down in general for the rest of the series. Don’t hold me to this completely as things are always subject to change, but I believe this will be a six-book series. I have only ever done trilogies before so this will be a new adventure!

As for real life, there is nothing much new to report. Matilda still has as much catitude as ever, and I believe she thinks she may be a meerkat. Lol. She still doesn’t seem to want to go into the family business of writing and disappears most days when I am working. I know I reported in the last newsletter she was into it, but I think that was a fluke. And it hasn’t happened since. Haha. But who knows she may warm up to it at some point.

Reading wise I have gone back to a classic that I haven’t read before, Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie. I’ve really been enjoying escaping to Egypt with this one. It’s definitely on my bucket list of places to visit. What have you been reading?

Well, I better sign off, I really want to finish this outline, so I can start writing this book. I’m so excited about it. I will share more next time.
