The Eclipse!

HAPPY AUGUST!

Can you believe how fast the summer is going by? I wish I’d been able to get out to the beach more, but there has been so much rain! One side benefit of rainy days is lots of time for reading and writing. What’s better than curling up with a good book while the rain is beating against the window pane? Not much in my opinion. 🙂 How’s your summer been where you are?

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT:

I’m so excited about the total solar eclipse this month. It’s less than a week away! I’m really looking forward to seeing it. The great news is that Charleston is in a prime spot for it. I saw on the news that they are expecting one million people to come to South Carolina. Crazy stuff!

BOOK NEWS:

I am really happy with how book three is progressing. Getting up early definitely pays off. I already have over 20,000 words completed. And the best part is I have a title …

FUN FACT: I think it’s divine timing that we have an eclipse this month right when I am writing about one for RING OF FIRE. I didn’t even plan it!
