Happy November

Hi Friends,

Hope you guys had an amazing Halloween! I usually dress up my pets for the occasion, but I didn’t do it this year, as we lost one of our fur members only a couple of weeks ago and I didn’t have the heart for it.

Those of you who have followed me for a while on social media, or here, know that Majick, my cat, was my baby. Unfortunately, he passed away due to thyroid complications, and I am heartbroken about it. It’s strange to not have a little writing companion with me anymore. It’s been hard. Still, I’m glad to have my two dogs Lailah and Rugby to keep me company.

Did you guys do anything fun for Halloween? The neighborhood next to ours goes all out, and it’s honestly the best-decorated neighborhood I have ever seen. There was a fun house, towering skeletons, and a gaggle of witches stirring potions and cackling away. It was the best. We walked the dogs over there to check it out and they even had treats for the dogs! So Lailah and Rugby went trick or treating too. Lol. They were very happy about it.

On the writing front, I’m still editing away. I know I hinted at a cover reveal with this newsletter but I had to push that back because I decided to rewrite the ending! My editor and I decided that we could make the end even better, and I am so excited to share it with you when it’s finished. It will be worth the extra wait I promise. I am hoping to have Cage of Design out by early next year. So stay tuned!
