Happy Halloween!

Hey Guys,

Hope you’re having a wonderful October. The leaves are changing a little bit here in South Carolina but it’s nothing like I’m used to since I grew up in Vermont. I do miss all the colors.

Things have been a little bit nuts over here this month. Anyone else? Turns out Rugby has some kind of disk disease and even stopped walking for a couple of weeks. Fortunately, he is up and walking now though still a bit unsteady. Matilda doesn’t get it and still wants to jump on his back like a crazy monkey. 🐒

As we are closing in on Halloween I’ve been mulling over costume options for the pets.🎃 But with Rugby still on the mend and Lailah with dementia that leaves me with only Matilda. What do we think the odds are I can get the witch hat I bought on her head? Yeah, I know I’m dreaming, but I have to try, she’s my only shot. 😂 I’ll keep you posted on my progress. Here is a picture of her with a lei, I took on her birthday. It was supposed to be around her neck but we just couldn’t get there. 😂

In book news, I’ve finished writing my novel in my new series. Hooray! After I finished I realized a way I could make it even better so I’m diving in now to see what kind of magic I can do. 🥰 Then it will be on to edits. I’m really enjoying this new project and hope to share with you more in the next Newsletter.

Have you guys been reading any good books lately? I just finished Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend!
Ok, well I better get back to my edits. Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween and I’ll see you next month with some more book news. 🥰
